Listed here are the top questions prospective students often ask us about the course. If you have additional questions, please contact us and we will provide you with the information you need. Thank you.
Where should I stay when I attend the course?
Just look under the Information tab at Accommodations. Here we have hotels listed and those that participate with a discount rate.
What if I don't want to use a PayPal account to pay for my registration?
After filling out the registration form, select your correct rate and Add to Cart. This will redirect you to a PayPal payment page. However, simply select ‘Check Out’ instead of ‘Check Out with PayPal’. For assistance, call Fresh Harvest at 614 264 9098.
What is the closest airport?
John Glenn Columbus International Airport, 52.1m from Richwood
Do I have to rent a car?
Usually a car rental is needed as the farm is approximately an hour from the closest airport and about fifteen minutes from hotels. Super Shuttle however can be arranged for transport from the airport.
Do I receive my course materials before class?
No. When you arrive to class the first day, you are presented with your 200+ page Complete Aquaponics Guide.
Can I video tape or record the sessions?
We encourage picture and note taking but ask that students refrain from any audio or video recordings.
I'm attending with my non profit group. Do you offer discounts?
Please contact us through our Contact Us page for any questions regarding discounts for non profit groups.
Will I be able to build a commercial sized system after taking the course?
Yes! Not only will you receive complete construction drawings and details in your Guide, but we review system construction in both the classroom and hands on sessions.
Can you tell me how much revenue my aquaponic farm can generate?
Unfortunately no, as no one can accurately do that without knowing your market conditions, climate or what crops you intend to grow. There’s several variables when determining the potential viability of a farm business. What we can tell you is how to assess your local market and demand and then how to custom build your farm to satisfy that market!
